Exhibition: 75 Years of DAF Truck Production in the PACCAR WING
On November 1, 2024, a new exhibition will start in the PACCARWING of the DAF Museum.
In 1949, the first DAF tractor, the DAF VD 50, rolled off the production line. These vehicles were delivered as chassis with a radiator grille but without a cabin. Customers could choose between a gasoline Hercules engine or a diesel Perkins engine. The DAF would be sent to a cabin builder where the vehicle was assembled. After a year, the chassis were delivered with a cabin directly from the factory.
Since 1949, DAF has annually built trucks and military vehicles, of which you can now find a large collection in the DAF Museum, with extra attention given to the most important models produced over the past 75 years. They are now on display in the PACCARWING.
This year, our collection has been enhanced with the flagship model, the DAF XG+. This DAF is open for viewing by the public, both inside and out. It is an achievement we can be proud of.
Come to the museum to view the collection in the PACCARWING.
