New delivery car wrapped
We have a new delivery car for the DAF Museum: a green DAF 66 / 1100 station wagon!
We were in urgent need of a quick delivery car for the city, in addition to our large white bus. A DAF passenger car is ideal for city traffic, but a genuine DAF 66 delivery version was nearly impossible to find—there are only seven left in the Netherlands, and they are not for sale.
In the end, we came across a DAF 66 / 1100 station wagon from Germany. Ton van den Berg, a true DAF expert, had one that was perfect for us. With a few adjustments, we are very pleased with it, and in December 2024, it was added to our 'driving collection.'
Residents of Eindhoven will undoubtedly encounter it somewhere in the city.
